Mark Sutherland

Mark is a native Floridian living in the Orlando area and has played courses all over Florida since taking up the game at the age of 7. He lived in North Carolina for eight years as well... that may explain the slight southern accent and high expectations for great southern hospitality. Like others that have played the game, Mark was a good player through college and a few years after, but with a busy family, in addition to the rigors of the corporate world, lost his game. He has vowed to get his game back, but that is unlikely as his Golf Zoo customers and teenagers keep him happily busy!

Having lived and played so much golf in North Carolina, Mark likes courses with a natural, traditional layout and design with good elevation changes. (We think the real reason he likes course elevations is the extra yardage on his drives). He has found these fantastic and unique courses in Florida, often referring to "Florida Mountain Golf". Whether you like the traditional Florida parkland courses, links style or "mountain golf", Mark will give you the feedback needed on the hundreds of courses he has played so you can plan the perfect golf vacation.
