Mike played in the 1987 British Open Qualifying at Muirfield and though he fell short of qualifying he instantly fell in love with the links courses of both Scotland and Ireland. Living in the Orlando area and working in convention sales at Walt Disney World, by 1990 he was taking his corporate clients on trips to St. Andrews and Ballybunion. It was a natural that he started his own golf travel business. Mike remembers those early trips stating “on the flight home from a great week of links golf we would not only be planning next year’s trip and who we were going to invite!” Mike has now been creating customized golf travel programs to Scotland and Ireland for 23 years and proudly states “I can control everything on your trip except the weather and the numbers on your scorecard. So practice and pray and leave the rest to me!”
