About us:
We have been operating in the Boston area since 1995, selling golf vacation packages to traveling golfers throughout the United States.
We are currently developing a national network of outside sales representatives who will use their contacts and sales experience to sell Worldwide Golf Vacation packages. The selected candidate(s) will be responsible to call on and develop new business opportunities in his/her territory. Our goal is to brand Worldwide Golf Vacation’s name as an industry leader for golf vacations. Our objective is to attain this through networking, person to person and business to business sales calls. Call on the golf courses in your area, the golf equipment stores and golf repair shops or just pass out our brochures to your golfing buddies. Most golfers travel somewhere each year, why shouldn’t they book their trip through you?
Territories:
Our hopes are to build territories around qualified sales representatives who live inside the territory. Typically, the successful candidate will make cold calls, phone sales and brochure drops within his/her sales zone/territory to people or businesses that are conducive to our main product; golf vacations. This would include but not be limited to, golf clubs (both private and public), retail golf stores, businesses, family, friends and your fellow golfing acquaintances. We suggest that you develop a sticker with your contact info to place on the brochure.
Qualified Candidates:
A qualified candidate should have strong communication skills and knowledge of golf, knowledge of travel is also very helpful. The most qualified candidates will be connected to golf clubs, club pros or may already work in the golf industry. This position is ideal for part-time or retired individuals looking to supplement their existing income.
Our Commitment of Support to You:
You will receive all tools necessary to be a productive member of our outside sales team. Selling tools, such as our brochure, sales & training kit, periodic E-Mails with our Specials, toll free reservation line and in-house support are all available to you. We will perform all pricing, prepare written quotes and make presentations to large groups where possible. We collect all payments and pay commission monthly. In addition, from time to time Worldwide Golf Vacations will provide the reps with leads and contact names, however this is a job that requires motivation and the ideal candidate is a self starter who knows where to find golfers.
Compensation:
This is a commission based position. The commission program begins at 7% and can increase based on sales volume. In addition, outside sales representatives are eligible for cash bonuses based of performance and fantastic golf vacation travel incentives.
