Casa de Campo GOLF

  • This is the one...the #1 ranked golf course in the Caribbean region and #27 in the world by golf industry publications and experts. This Pete Dye masterpiece plays along the craggy coral formations of the Caribbean Sea, across finely-conditioned rolling terrain and is surrounded by lush tropical gardens. "El Diente de Perro", or Teeth of the Dog, attracts the top professional and amateur golfers from around the world to solve the natural obstacles, devilish doglegs and signature Dye obstacles, plus the prevailing trade winds sweeping across the island. "The opportunity to carve out Teeth of the Dog was a once-in-a-lifetime experience," Pete Dye wrote in his book, Bury Me In a Pot Bunker. "Without proper heavy machinery to crack the coral, the tireless Dominican crew used sledgehammers, pickaxes and chisels to break the hard coral formations." The result was a true golf masterpiece that has stood the test of time!

Now you can conquer one of the world's finest courses while staying at Casa de Campo Resort. Top-notch forecaddies are required and available at Teeth of the Dog and are ready and eager to guide you through one of the world's great courses. • The beautiful inland course The Links course designed by Pete Dye may not be as challenging as its seaside or cliff-hugging siblings, but don't be deceived. The Links is a rolling hills track with with great views of the Caribbean Sea. Tall bahia and guinea grass natural areas, as well as waste areas and sand traps will keep you on your toes. Thought by some to be reminiscent of traditional British and Scottish courses, The Links also features five holes bordering several lagoons and small lakes making the challenge even more special.

Course Length/Par (All Tees): Back 6,461/71, Middle 5597/71, Forward 4521/71. Course Slope/Rating (All Tees): Back 124/70, Middle 116/66.3, Ladies' Middle 123/71.4, Ladies Forward 113/65.7.

The Links Course is available to stay & play guests of Casa de Campo Resort. Forecaddie not required, but available for an additional charge.
